Are you ready? As we move from the information age to the conceptual age, soft skills (people skills), will be in higher demand than ever before. Will you be able to get the job you’ve always wanted, or the raise you have often dreamed of?

Don’t let your people skills make your boom moment a big bust? Attend Hayward Suggs’ presentation on Tuesday, January 28 at the St. Mary Immaculate Employment Ministry meeting.

  1. I wish people would be more responsible than to write things such as, “Finally, multiple signs foretell an upswing. In fact, many business experts predict an economic boom!” without including who these “business experts” are that they think they are quoting. It gives people a false sense of what is happening. **If** there is a chance of an “economic boom” then PLEASE include what the anticipated time is for such a happening. The economy does cycle between recession to boom times, but it is several years inbetween such events and people in different types of employment or Unemployment have very different cycles, and different number of years in such cycles. Those of us who have been unemployed for several months or more will spend a long, long time catching up, before we experience a “boom”. Those of you who are employed, will continue to increase your wealth.
